DATA QUALITY INFORMATION

Horizontal positional accuracy

Registered to tax lots.

Parks were digitized from two sources:
1. Metropolitan Area Parks, A Directory of Parks and Recreational Facilities in the Region, Metro, June, 1989.
2. Assessor information:
Clackamas and Washington Counties: Assessor Property Classification for Assessment (PCA) Code.
Multnomah County: Assessor Exemption Code.

Horizontal positional accuracy in city of Portland was corrected as part of re-mapping project.

This layer was reprojected to the NAD83/91 projection (also known as HPGN) as part of a conversion of all RLIS map layers.

Updates were made based on Metro bond measure 26-26 acquisitions and local park provided acquisitions.

Ownership and jurisdiction fields were dropped. Jurisdiction was largely used to create the Custodian field. Custodian field is the entity, public or private, that manages the land and facilities of the park or open space.

Projection information (.prj file), compatible with ArcGIS 8.1, was added to the layer.

Bondaqu item added to coverage. Source is J:\freeman\proj\95212\covers\bondaqu. Updated every quarter for rlislite.
