The Neighbourhood Pattern Typology examines seven factors that influence neighbourhood sustainability. The research was produced for the Sustainable Development Research Institute as part of the Georgia Basin Quest model. The model is an interactive game that allows players to decide the fate of the Georgia Basin over a forty year time frame. Choosing a neighbourhood pattern, based on the what currently exists in the region is one part of the game.
